As per revised CBDT Notification dated 06.01.2017:-
A person who has an account with a Banking Company and has not quoted his/her PAN or furnished Form No. 60, as the case may be, at the time ofopening of such account or subsequently, shall have to furnish his PAN or Form No. 60 to the Bank on or before 28.02.2017”.
Exception: This requirement does not apply to Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts, Zero Balance Savings Accounts including Jan-Dhan Accounts.
